The 6th Annual “I LOVE LILIHA” Town Festival
The 6th Annual “I LOVE LILIHA” Town Festival will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Prince David Kawananakoa Playground and Kawananakoa Middle School at the corner of Nuuanu Avenue and Kuakini Street, which offers free admission to the events. The Royal Hawaiian Band will perform from 10:15am – to 11:15 am.
Governor Linda Lingle will be addressing the attendees of the festival at 12noon.
The “I LOVE LILIHA” Town Festival provides a venue to showcase all the great things about the Liliha community and features performances and special appearances, savory treats from local food vendors and much, much more. Bring your beach umbrellas, mats, chairs & spend the day! Free parking is also available.
